Red Inventory have been providing Inventory Services since 2003. Our highly trained clerks efficiently visit rental properties to create detailed Inventories, Check-ins, Check-outs and inspections, protecting your rental property assets and deposits. We also provide professional photography and floorplan services for estate agents marketing purposes.
What We Do
Inventory
Detailed list and description of the property and all it’s fixtures, fittings and contents.
Check-in
Conducted at the start of the tenancy (and sometimes whilst the inventory is being prepared), the inspection is conducted noting the condition of the property it’s contents and updating this information with detailed photographs to be used alongside the inventory. The clerk will also check the working functionality of smoke alarms and Carbon monoxide detectors and will manage key handover to the tenants if present.
Check-out
Conducted at the end of the tenancy, the inspection is done noting the condition of property and contents and comparing this information to the condition at check-in. The clerk will also manage receipt of the keys from the tenants and returning them to the estate agent or landlord.
Midterm Inspections
During the course of the tenancy our clerks can visit your property and document the general condition found. This can be useful to highlight any basic maintenance issues (eg signs of damp or poor ventilation) which may not have been reported to the landlord or agent, or to highlight if your property is not being maintained by the tenant to your expected standard.
Photography & Floor Plans
Primarily a service for estate agents our photographs are used for marketing purposes on websites or printed media.

Guy van Petegem
Owner Partner
Guy has extensive property experience having worked for a prominent London estate agent for 9 years prior to starting Red Inventory in 2003. He also conducts property renovation projects and has some rental properties all of which keeps him at the sharp end of property business. A keen fitness fanatic who loves going for a run, or out on his bike, but never happier than when spending home time with his family.
Rory McClelland

Rory has been involved in Estate and Property Management for over 20 years and consults with Lettings businesses. His interests are in literature, the Arts and photography and pines to farm (on the side!)
